Inside the book

Motivations, Inspirations, Complications, Meditations

In Sinful Pride, Billy Zeh delves into the fascinating lives of public figures who experienced the highs and lows of success, only to be humbled by the destructive force of sinful pride. From athletes to celebrities, entrepreneurs to politicians, these individuals seemingly had it all—fame, fortune, and adulation. But behind the glitz and glamor is a different story.

Throughout the book, Zeh explores common threads that connect these individuals: their upbringing, faith background, and relentless pursuit of success—and how their pride grew with their successes leading them down a path of self-deception.

Through captivating narratives and biblical insights, a light is shined on the consequences of pride and the transformative power of humility. Witness the unraveling of lives built on false foundations and discover the sobering truth that lies beneath the surface of public personas.

Sinful Pride offers a reminder that success is not measured by the applause of others, but by the humble state of your heart along the journey.

Billy Zeh is a native of Northern Virginia,

with a lifetime career in public service as a professional instructor specializing in communication skills, crisis management, and PTSD.

Billy gave his life to Jesus Christ in 1988, when a Christian coworker invited him to lunch and led him to make a decision to follow Jesus. But his commitment was superficial at best, and his sinful pride graveyard deep at its worst.

Billy’s transformation from being dead in sin to living a resurrected life began through a series of professional highs and lows, personal loss through a failed marriage, destruction of his family, and destruction of his home. As his good friend Keith H. observed, Billy was “the architect of his own demise.”

One Saturday morning the burden of his collapsed personal and professional life was too much to bear. Billy got down on his knees and asked the Lord to help him. At that moment he felt a surge of heat cover the left side of his face. A bright light illuminated the room for several seconds, then disappeared. From head to toe he felt a change encompass him. Since then, Billy has completely surrendered control of his life to the Holy Spirit, his Wonderful Counselor, the Mighty God.

Billy is married, and combined with his wife, he has six talented children and many awesome grandchildren.
